Key Responsibilities
As part of our technical operations team, you will assist in various electrical engineering-related tasks. This is a practical, hands-on role requiring precision, reliability, and an eagerness to learn. Your daily duties will include:
- Building Electrical Enclosures
Assemble and configure electrical panels and housings to support different systems and applications. - Panel Wiring
Execute precise panel wiring and internal electrical setups according to schematics and specifications. - Using Power Tools
Operate power tools, including drills and cut-off saws, to support fabrication and assembly tasks. - Assisting with Equipment Testing
Work closely with technicians and engineers to test equipment and ensure it meets operational standards. - Stock Management Support
Assist with stock control by tracking inventory, organizing components, and preparing materials for projects. - Wiring Diagram Drafting
Learn how to draft or update wiring diagrams under guidance, helping to document internal electrical layouts. - Administrative Support
Complete light administrative tasks, such as updating job cards, recording testing data, and organizing documentation. - General Workshop Support
Provide assistance in other areas as needed, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Minimum Requirements
We value dedication, work ethic, and enthusiasm as much as experience. However, the following minimum requirements must be met to be considered:
- Matric / Grade 12 Certificate
A completed senior certificate with basic technical or science subjects is preferred. - English Proficiency
Good communication skills, especially in written and spoken English, are essential for team collaboration and task reporting. - Good Physical Health
This is a hands-on position that involves standing, moving, and working with tools—good physical health is necessary. - Reliable Transport
You must have consistent and dependable transportation to and from work each day.
Advantageous but Not Mandatory Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications and skills would give you a competitive edge in the application process:
- N4 to N6 Certificates in Electrical Engineering
A strong foundation in electrical engineering theory and practice is a major advantage. - Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
Candidates with formal education in mechatronics or electrical engineering will be considered favorably. - Basic Electronics Knowledge
Understanding electronic components, signals, and circuits will help you contribute more quickly to projects. - Programming Fundamentals
