Role Purpose:
The primary objective of this position is to support the Meyerton Legal Department by coordinating with various Branches, Debt Counsellors, Administrators, and other Departments, while also performing general administrative tasks as required to facilitate the organization in meeting its goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Addressing and resolving inquiries from branches, clients, Debt Counsellors, and Administrators.
- Monitoring payments made by Debt Counsellors or Administrators.
- Tasks include, but are not limited to: data entry and letter drafting, such as:
- Certificates of Balances;
- Acceptance letters;
- Paid-up letters;
- Termination letters;
- Reconciliation statements;
- Processing applications for Debt Review/Administration, as well as managing debit order cancellations and refunds.
- Overseeing accounts on Excalibur and Delfin systems.
Qualifications:
- Minimum requirement of a matric certificate.
Experience:
- Proficiency in Excel and Word.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, honestly, assertively, and persuasively, including telephone etiquette and written correspondence.
- Integrity, punctuality, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Adequate numeracy and literacy skills to minimize errors.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- A positive demeanor, along with empathy and patience towards clients and colleagues.
- Competence in operating a computer and related peripherals efficiently and at acceptable speeds.
- Precision in maintaining records and systems.
- Capability to remain composed and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Fluency in at least Afrikaans and/or English; proficiency in an additional official language is advantageous.
