Heineken 2025 Internship Program
Objective of the Position
The objective is to provide practical work experience to students in their final year of study, who are required to gain such experience to fulfill their qualification requirements. The selected candidate will be expected to engage in a 12-month contract starting on 01 March 2025 and concluding on 28 February 2026.
Key Learning Areas encompass, but are not limited to, the following:
- Quality Control and Assurance (including intrinsic and extrinsic control, Quality Management Systems, etc.)
- Research
- Production
To be eligible for selection and participation in this program, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
- South African citizenship
- A satisfactory academic record and currently in the final year of obtaining a relevant tertiary qualification (National Diploma in Food Technology/Analytical Chemistry, BSc Biotechnology)
- Basic Computer Literacy
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Effective time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Capability to work collaboratively within a team
- Ability to manage the physical demands associated with the position
- Willingness to work extended hours
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace
- Commitment to entering and completing the 12-month internship program
Prospective interns are required to submit the following documents:
- Covering/Motivational letter
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Certified copy of tertiary qualification
- Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate
- A letter from the tertiary institution confirming the internship requirement and evaluation format
- Certified copy of ID
