Job Purpose
To engage in and successfully complete the Learnership programme tailored to a specific area of expertise.
Programme Overview
- This 12-month programme encompasses a theoretical framework aligned with an NQF Learnership programme, complemented by practical on-site work experience aimed at enhancing the skills and workplace performance of entry-level learners. It aims to provide foundational competencies in literacy, numeracy, communication, computer skills, and basic business principles.
- This programme is designed for individuals who have completed Grade 12, facilitating the development of essential professional skills. During the practical phase, learners will offer administrative support to enhance the efficiency of managers and their respective departments, thereby preparing them for workplace readiness.
- The theoretical curriculum will include topics such as Entrepreneurship, Business Operations, Customer Service, Business Accounting, Maths Literacy, Communication Skills, and Computer Skills.
Additional Responsibilities
- Learners will have the opportunity to provide support to fellow learners, conduct awareness presentations, perform research, and monitor clients’ progress towards their individual objectives.
- Coordination of events with service providers and site contacts will also be part of their responsibilities.
- Facilitation of communication among employees, service providers, and the Wellbeing team, ensuring that employees are informed about upcoming wellbeing initiatives, events, and available resources.
- Involvement in strategic planning and the development of a yearly wellbeing roadmap, as well as participation in Employee Engagement and Wellbeing Surveys.
- Collaboration across departments, including IT and HR, and participation in meetings with Senior Managers, Vice Presidents, and Senior Vice Presidents.
Educational Requirements
- Completion of Matric/Grade 12 is essential. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, ideally in Psychology.
Minimum Experience
- 0-1 years of experience in coaching and mentoring is considered advantageous.
