Overview:
Studio 88 Group of Companies is seeking dynamic and customer-focused individuals to join our retail team as Sales Assistants. This role is ideal for someone passionate about retail, fashion, and delivering excellent customer experiences. You will support daily store operations, assist customers, and help maintain high store standards.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
Work Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a sales-related environment.
- Previous work in a retail setting, especially in apparel or fashion, is an added advantage.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Familiarity with stock replenishment, folding garments, organizing displays, and ensuring store cleanliness.
- Competence in handling cash, processing transactions, and using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Basic knowledge of inventory procedures, including stockroom organization and conducting stock checks.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering outstanding service and resolving customer queries.
- Sales Techniques: Ability to engage in upselling and cross-selling to increase sales value.
- Product Knowledge: Good understanding of fashion, clothing brands, sizing, and trends to guide customers effectively.
- Visual Merchandising: Ability to assist with store displays and maintain a visually appealing retail space.
- Communication: Clear and effective verbal and written communication with customers, teammates, and supervisors.
- Time Management: Efficient handling of tasks within a fast-paced environment.
- Customer Relations: Capability to develop relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
