Introduction

An exciting 12 month learnership programme exists within our JHB Branch based in our Transport Department.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Exposure in the business, through rotation.
  • On the job training will be provided.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Experience

A South African Citizen.

  • Ideally no previous professional work experience and should not have previously completed a
  • Finance Learnership Programme.
  • Finance knowledge/experience

  • Computer literacy, Advanced MS Excel, efficient on MS Word & MS PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Data accuracy and quality, good time management.
  • Good organisational and administrative skills. 
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Work well in a team.

Qualification

  • Completed Matric
  • Finance Certificate or Diploma.

Eligibility Criteria

  • SARS Financial Learnership: A minimum of a three-year National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or a Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7 or higher) for the Graduate Development Programme. For the Chartered Accountant Training Programme, applicants should have completed or be in the final year of a SAICA-accredited Chartered Accountancy qualification.
  • Absa Bank Learnerships: A Diploma in Finance or a related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates with financial planning qualifications or RE5 certification.
  • FNB Learnerships: A Grade 12 or Matric certificate is required. Candidates should be between 18 and 35 years old, unemployed, and possess basic computer literacy.
  • SA Reserve Bank Learnerships: A valid Grade 12 certification and a diploma or degree in a relevant field such as finance, economics, or accounting.
  • Bankseta Letsema Learnership: A Matric certificate with a minimum of 50% in English and 50% in Accounting, Mathematics, or 60% in Maths Literacy. Candidates should be unemployed, a South African citizen, and under 35 years old.
