Introduction
The objective is to perform a variety of tasks as directed by your Team Leader, ensuring that customer needs, distribution performance goals, and quality standards are achieved and, whenever feasible, surpassed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute tasks and manage any necessary processes as instructed by your Team Leader to fulfill distribution targets, customer service level agreements (SLA), and efficiency and quality standards in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist the Warehouse Team Leader by providing regular feedback on workload and distribution challenges.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations within the team and the workplace, ensuring safe practices in equipment usage and maintaining good housekeeping to create a safe working environment for all staff.
- Utilize systems relevant to your department.
- Engage with any new training materials related to operational tasks, ensuring that training aligns with the required SOPs and associated documentation.
- Be proactive in contributing to continuous improvement initiatives as appropriate.
- Be willing to work in different operational areas for designated periods as needed.
- Ensure that all workstations are fully equipped with necessary packaging materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workstation and warehouse areas to reduce downtime.
- Promote the quality of customer orders picked and packed within the Distribution department by adhering to and complying with SOPs.
- The individual in this role is responsible for maintaining their work in accordance with the established Quality Assurance and Work Procedures (SOPs, user guides, etc.) to the required standard.
