POSITION: School Administration Clerk

Salary Level: 05
Annual Salary Notch: R228,321 – R268,950 per annum
Shift Work: Required


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience in an administrative or corporate services environment will be advantageous
  • Preference will be given to candidates residing within the locality of the school

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy and numeracy
  • High levels of honesty, integrity, and professionalism
  • Good customer service orientation

CORE DUTIES:

  • General office administration: Filing, data capturing, document tracking, photocopying, and communication handling
  • Maintain registers, records, and statistics
  • Clerical support for supply chain management: Obtain quotations, manage stationery, asset registers
  • Provide HR admin support: Leave tracking, personnel files, attendance registers, travel arrangements
  • Financial admin tasks: Capture expenditure, handle travel claims and petty cash
  • Capture educator and learner data using SASSAMS
